Products and services. AWMA design, manufacture and install water control infrastructure incorporating Water Control Gates and Penstocks: metering telemetry Monitoring and Control. Providing innovative Water Saving Infrastructure and Technology instigated the beginning of AWMA in July 2000 as Brett Kelly and Rick Bilton began exploring ways to assist irrigators achieve greater water control. In April 2004 new shareholders Murray Irrigation Limited (Australia’s largest irrigation company) strengthened AWMA’s capabilities and resources. Today AWMA continue to be innovative and responsive to the water industry through research, development and customized products.
Cobram Irrigation facilitates the design and installation of tailored irrigation infrastructure, specializing in pressurized irrigation systems with application to commercial agriculture and local government re-use facilities. Cobram Irrigation combines a wealth of local knowledge and technical expertise to offer solutions for water savings and productivity gains on farm.
As agents for Valley Centre Pivot Irrigators, Toro, Netafim, John Deere Water Products and Davey Pumps, Cobram Irrigation is well equipped to partner farming enterprises in progress toward modernisation. The business offers a retail outlet for supply of all irrigation equipment and is geared for Poly Welding and custom poly fabrications. Other services include, Bore hole pump sales, pump repairs and installation, complete water analysis and trenching.
Australia's leading organisation representing the breadth of the Australian irrigation industry. It has members covering all sectors of the industry, from water users, consultants, designers and installers through to educational institutions, government, manufacturers and retailers. The composition of the association provides members with access to a unique network of information as well as to people and organisations involved in Australia's water resources sector. The IAL has concentrated on achieving its aim of being the representative body of an internationally, nationally and regionally recognised irrigation industry, providing leadership in the growth and development of all its sectors. IAL is a member of the International Committee on Irrigation and Drainage.

Padman Stops is a manufacturer of water control structures and automatic irrigation controllers for the surface irrigation industry. Our key product, which was designed and manufactured over 20 years ago by John Padman, is the “Padman Stop”. It is a 100% watertight rubber flap set in a concrete structure that makes it easy to automate gravity flow water, thus reducing the loss of water from leaking bay outlets.

WiSA Irrigation Management Systems are proudly designed, manufactured and serviced in Australia at our head office in Echuca Victoria. A WiSA Irrigation Management System provides extensive and accurate weather, soil and crop information utilising soil moisture monitoring, sensors and weather data to enable precise control of water and nutrient applications.
The WiSA Management System applications include: Rural - Re forestation – EPA and Environmental – Mining – Municipality – Suburbia – Hydroponics - Green roofs – Landscaping – parklands - golf courses - resorts – grey water and sewage applications.

We have a wide range of capabilities from Project Management with Computer Design to Whole Farm Plans and all excavation work. Andrew Goldman Excavations has a large range of earthmoving equipment including excavators, D85A dozer and road graders with laser controlled 14ft blades. We are able to also supply a large range of sand and gravel products on site.

IK Caldwell has been operating for 50 years and is an independently owned business with branches in Shepparton, Cobram, Rochester, Deniliquin, Bridgewater and Corowa. Its Agronomy and Technical Service teams deliver a range of services for broad acre, horticulture, viticulture, fodder, pasture, rice and summer crop production across these regions. For many years the Technical Services division has been heavily involved in the sale, installation, support and servicing of soil moisture and weather monitoring equipment for agricultural and environmental applications.

Murray Dairy is the Murray region’s service delivery arm of Dairy Australia. It is one of eight Regional Development Programs (RDP’s) across Australia that exists specifically for the benefit of dairy farmers in northern Victorian and Southern New South Wales. Murray Dairy collects the priorities of the region’s dairy farmers and allocates part of their service levy (collected by Dairy Australia) to those research and development priorities. On top of the service levy, Murray Dairy also creates partnerships with other agencies to secure additional funding. Murray Dairy comprises a seven-member board that is responsible for allocating the way in which research and development funds are spent in the Murray Dairy region.

Northern Victorian Irrigation Renewal Project (NVIRP): NVIRP will plan, design and deliver a modernised irrigation system that will help secure the economic, social & environmental future of northern Victoria. We are a new entity with a most important role to successfully deliver Australia’s largest ever irrigation renewal project. From the investment of over $2 billion for stage 1 and stage 2 of the modernisation of the Goulburn Murray irrigation district (GMID) we will recover approximately 425 gigalitres of water (long term average) which is currently lost to the system. This project will establish the platform for northern Victoria’s future and its ongoing economic viability. The water savings will be distributed with 80 per cent staying in the northern Victoria region, shared by irrigators and the environment and 20 per cent will go to Melbourne via the sugarloaf pipeline.

The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) leads the Victorian Government's efforts to sustainably manage water resources and catchments, climate change, bushfires, parks and other public land, forests, biodiversity and ecosystem conservation. Irrigation renewal will: Use modern technology to enable more efficient on-farm water use through a more responsive water ordering system; Farmers will be able to order water when they need it rather than waiting five days for their water order to be processed; Provide certainty for irrigators and our future irrigation industry; Improve the efficiency of the delivery systems in irrigation areas, in most cases from about 70 per cent to 85 per cent and allow these efficiency gains to be used for commercially productive and environmental purposes, underpinning future regional growth and confidence;
Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority: Securing our water future together. The Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority was established in 1997 as the peak natural resource management body in the catchment to develop and oversee the implementation of the Regional Catchment Strategy. The GBCMA is working to ensure land and water resources are protected and enhanced as well as improving the region's social wellbeing, environmental quality and productive capacity in a sustainable manner.
