About Clusters
“Collaboration and innovation for irrigation”
This section gives an overview of the Cluster apprach which originated in Europe and has been used successfully for regional development in many countries around the world over the last 20 years.
The Regional Cluster Innovation Program was introduced in Victoria in 2004. 20 Clusters were commenced as pilot projects supported and funded by the Victorian Government. The Water Technology Cluster is the most recent to commence. It formally got under way in 2008 following feasibility and establishment phases.
This area will be added to at a later date. The focus of this website at the moment is on developing the Cluster further and servicing the needs of the growing membership. Please refer to other pages on this site.
